Do you get the error message sometime after the game successfully launches, or does it occur when you attempt to launch it?
I'd also like to get the specs for the system you're using. There's an easy way to do that if you don't remember everything installed in your system.
1. Open the Start Menu 2. Enter "dxdiag" into the field labeled "Type here to Search". 3. Press Enter 4. Click on "Save All Information" 5. Open the new file 6. Copy Everything under "System Information" 7. Post that info here 8. Go back to the file and copy everything under "Display Devices" up to "Rank Of Driver" 7. Post that info here.
I'll take a look and see if I can find any information or replicate the issue in a virtual machine. Also, hold on to that file. I may need more information from it later on.
It always happens when i go to try and launch it. just keep in mind it is doing it for all my resident evil games as well as dark souls...ugh...

Alright, thanks. I used to run Windows 8.1 with it and it literally took 10 mins to start up. hopefully it doesnt happen like that when I upgrade
Glad to hear these comments. I've seen plenty of people complain that it took like 10 mins to load up and freeze at the start in Windows 8.1.
I've been playing Chris campaign without problems for two weeks. So far, nothing has gone wrong.
Well sad to say on my end the game still acts up loading. Im guessing it's either my video card or processor.
