ข้อดี: "The Hanoi airport was great. Had hand sanitization centers and medical staff to monitor people during this corona virus outbreak. The plane was very nice and clean and they did not pass out blankets due to the virus. The crew was very nice and attentive."

My wife was traveling economy I was in business. Nasty reception at the Vietnam Air lounge in Hanoi. The other lounge great not affiliated with Vietnam."

And it turns out worse, because apparently we had been shifted to a plane that was going to continue into Laos, so the plane came in at the International Arrivals Section and we had to take a bus from there to get our luggage in the Domestic Arrivals Hall. Making it all even later. No food offered for this quite expensive flight, only water, and no entertainment either."

Very inconsistent experiences and no help for elderly, only babies. Food is not good either, vegetarian meal is not filling just a few vegetables and second main option I was told was noodles but when opened it was western spaghetti with a clump of meat I had to pull apart."

ข้อเสีย: "This flight seems more and more every time we take an econo flight which, should be cheaper then what you get for pricing. No fluff flight only I can see the different is the baggage weight you can take is only the extra. Seem we stayed on the tar mac for a while flying out and flying in Ho Chi which, the air movement in the cabin was not that great at all and little stuffy and warm. One thing leaving out of Term 3 at Singapore if you go thru Immegration and want to eat the food is not great all and stay away from Burger King and for the 3rd time got sick again! Worst Burger Jiont in the World ever! From no soda, the chicken nuggets tasting like fish, and the Burgees did not taste like burger very sickening! Thier are a rip-off to still wanted everyone to pay full price for the a meal and without no drink and pay extra for water and wanted people to pay for ice. Burger King Co. really need to take hard look at this Joint for very bad foods serving people and getting them sick and ripping people off with money. Seats are small and compact and the seat belt for the airline is small for a bigger person and not meaning over weight."

We landed and had four minutes to catch the flt. Vietnam Air was there to guide us to the international terminal and rushed us to the plane. It took 20 minutes but they held the plane for us and we made it to Cambodia. Our luggage arrived the next day which was ok, at least we got there. Thank you Vietnam Airlines!"

I was moved to a row of empty seats and it made my flight very comfortable. Unfortunately I got sick on the flight but the attention received from everyone was first class and may very well have saved my life. Thank you Scoot.

Instead of the flight attendants talking to each other they should have been monitoring the passengers. The person beside me took a phone call literally 30 seconds before the plane landed. As we were going down the runway ( from landing ) a person in the row in front of me and behind me made phone calls; CRAZY

I discovered this by checking myself - chartered a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 and then reduced then quality of every Business Class service (no entertainment system videos or music, no alcohol or soft drinks - only water, only Economy class food. There was no apology from Scoot (who are a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) and none from Singapore Airlines. There was no suggestion of any refunds or other compensation. Truly a disgrace. I will never fly on either Singapore Airlines or Scoot airline again. I am seeking further compensation through Australian Fair Trading and through Class Action Lawyers (as this impacted every passenger on this flight, not just Business Class)"

ข้อเสีย: "This was a return flight I was taking. But even though I paid for a bag when booking, Kayak only booked the bag on the flight over. It there for cost me $48 to book the bag on at the airport one way back. For some reason when I was paying they could not take for the full amount on my CC and so I had to go change money as $8 had to be paid cash (very strange). The flight was very uncomfortable. I could go into detail but now I’m just ranting. Not happy. Won’t be doing that again."

The explanation that I got that "we need to balance the plane" is whitewash. It's clearly to push peopel to buying the premium service. But when you do that at the price of alienating people, you've done them and yourself a disservice. Time to rethink!"

As we hit the gate, she chased us down to yet again, say he couldn't board because of the same reason. She told him when he got back to Hyderabad that he would be charged as a criminal & be held in a cell all alone without a way to commicate to others. It was absolutely absurd!! We made it back to Hyderabad and like we knew the whole time, his VISA was fine."

If Scoot's food was more reasonably priced I would buy it, but it is overpriced and therefore I need to bring my own. The seats are uncomfortable for sleeping in. The cabin temperature was a bit cold and with no blanket supplied this made it hard to sleep. Even though you are flying between two tropical destinations, I would recommend bringing a jumper."

Really need to improve the food options

ข้อเสีย: "Flight cancelled because internet went down on site. However, Virgin Australia and Qantas airlines were able to paper book their passengers and fly to destination. Jet star couldn’t do the same. Even though the internet came back up Jetstar couldn’t complete the passenger flight check in. The Airport staff stated the internet was a risk and instead put 200 people on buses and drove us 5 hours across a 42C desert. Somehow driving across the desert was safer. The icing on the cake was the Internet stayed up for the next hour prior to our bus ride and within the flight crews crew day. So, we could all have flown home with the Jetstar flight crew who actually flew back to Sydney. Yes missed the fireworks and expensive hotel stay on New Years Eve. Finally, Jetstar rebooked is on a flight to Adelaide then to Sydney so we wouldn’t arrive until 945pm. I certainly didn’t appreciate my direct 3 hour flight being turned into a 5 hour bus ride then a 7 hour flight. Oh, please tell them thanks for the piece of cheese and two crackers, apple and apple juice for dinner. What could be done better.....eliminate Jetstar from your list of service providers. The entertainment only changes every few months so if you are frequent flyer with JetStar, you'll get bored of the movie and TV selection within three flights. The customer service varies wildly. I had one flight where a steward spilled a cup (literally) of water on me and handed me two napkins, and another flight where they moved me to a more comfortable seat upon request. Also, the JetStar membership is a JOKE! I paid for a year membership with the offer of deals and lower, membership prices. HA! I have yet to see an international offer, and they only reduce prices of say entertainment by $1. Also, they don't have an actual MILES program. If I was flying with ANY other company, I would have received some type of positive upgrade for all my flying with them. I must have flown 100,000 miles with them this year already."

I flew jetstar from Sydney to Sunshine Coast with my backpack a personal bag and a tote bag. I had previously paid 20$ for checked luggage. Making my total for the flight 80$ no one asked to weigh my bags or questioned them. Making the 20$ extra just disappear? . They did make me throw out my beverage upon entered the aircraft that I just purchased, I would assume because it’s a ‘safety issue’ even though the airline does not give complimentary anything so I’m assuming it’s mostly competition of sales.In Gold Coast I checked my bags through security got to the gate and they had a trolly weighing bags. They asked me if I was traveling with someone else which I replied with a no. They then weighed my backpack saying it was 7kgs and I had to come with them to the front. So my backpack personal item and tote bag was too much all of a sudden. I offered to give up the tote bag which then turned the situation into that all of my bags were over weight and it was going to charge me 60$ for my 7kg backpack. I said 60$ was expensive and I paid 20$ last time for my checked bags on the way here that I hadn’t used and he said too bad. Meanwhile the majority of people boarding past me had had rolling luggage and an additional bag or a personal item and when I said something to the employee he told me I’m wrong and they were all weighed and it’s 60$ for my belongings to be checked and put under the plane? Because 60$ somehow made the weight of the flight more light? Horrible customer service. I didn’t get I’m sorry any compassion I got what are you paying with? I paid 60$ or miss my flight. 60$ could have given me one more flight. Also to mention the flight was not even completely full so what did that 60$ accomplish? Awful awful awful . So in the future I suppose I’m just going to donate 20$ regardless if I have checked luggage or not because paying for everything is the only consistent thing on jetstar. On the positive side they let me jump the line after I paid 60$ for my “overweight luggage” and I got to my assigned seat more quickly."

It took 2 hours for me to get my bags upon arrival, so I was almost unable to re-check my bags when the layover was almost 3 hours. I had to take a cab from the international airport to the domestic one, rushing to make the bag check-in deadline, and then get there to see the flight delayed 30 mins. The delay is not the problem, stuff happens, it was the lack of communication, from start to finish that was frustrating. Other airlines have texting and email services, and offer to check bags right outside of customs. I was glad to have brought my own food - $10 for 5 tablespoons of rice? $7.50 for instant noodles? at least the portion size looked OK. The flight staff were very nice, but I felt like the girl at the bar only drinking water."

When I landed they couldn't remove the bags because of a storm, so I had to wait extra time for bags I shouldn't have needed to check. They also charge exorbitantly for anything on the flights. I wanted a cup of water and they asked for 4 dollars for a mini bottle. If their rates were cheap this would have been understandable, but that's not the case."

These bags are normally roller wheel carry-ons, but we were not allowed to carry them on. The cost was $640! We were told only when we got to the counter (there are no electronic tickets or electronic check in.) we received a 'discount' and had to pay $360. The jet star agent admitted that she gets multiple complaints DAILY about these fees. Jet Star scams its customers. The reviews are poor precisely because of this. Avoid this airline."

We were in Business class from Honolulu to Sydney and that's a well timed flight considering it takes a little over 10 hours, leaving Honolulu at 8:30am and arriving in Sydney at 3:00pm. We normally fly Qantas business for international flights but in this case it's almost double the cost. Jetstar Business doesn't have lie flat beds, it provides wide and comfortable seats and they don't recline very far, but as this particular flight is completely in daylight hours it doesn't matter too much. We will always choose this particular flight because of the combination of timing and cost, so well done Jetstar."

ข้อเสีย: "Return journey of our flight was moved so disrupted our onward flights. Getting in touch with customer services was impossible. Only way is to 'live chat' then they tell you their hands are tied and to speak to the 'refunds team' who don't have a number and will 'be in touch with you'. They won't be. Then outbound flight was cancelled at the last minute. Waiting for a refund........and waiting. If it's a choice between jet star or swimming to your next destination, swim."

ข้อเสีย: "Had a misunderstanding with a visa waiver for my girlfriend who's is English. The particular hostess that brought it to our attention was quite dull and sour with the whole situation. After about 15 minutes of basically saying she couldn't board the flight, another jet star person came over and quickly ingot Ed us that we could purchase a visa waiver on the spot for 750 baht. Problem solved and his mannerism were far more bright and cheerful. A smile goes a long way"

ข้อเสีย: "charging for entertainment...no blankets for an overnight 6hour long flight... customer service is just the worse I've seen on an airline. Don't get me started on the baggage allowance surcharges... Still found one very friendly staff at the Sydney Airport though, there is still hope. Get on it Jetstar, get on it."

ข้อดี: "On checking in, they charged us a penalty fee, and then our flight got cancelled at the last minute without any options to get back to the city in time for work. Had to book a last minute flight with a different airline and couldn't get luggage back in time to take it along!"

ข้อดี: "Have flown with jet star and I always have a great flight and I really enjoy how amazing the flight crew always are. Will continue to choose Jetstar for my domestic flights."

ข้อดี: "Due to storms a 1 1/2 hour delay which is understandable until I found a friend on Qantas left on time. Delay on all Jetstar to Sydney and that afternoon but unaccountably Qantas mostly in time."

ข้อดี: "Left & arrived on time -AKL to SYD."

ข้อเสีย: "Not as low cost as advertised. Hidden costs: pay extra to pick a seat. Any seat. No luggage allowance, must pay extra for 1st checked bag. No complimentary drinks, must pay top price for coffee, water, juice. Airline coffee in paper cup. Credit card or debit only. Toilet use might be free... did not ch check."

ข้อเสีย: "I obviously purchased my tickets too fast. I missed the hidden check-in option online which is a UX recommendation I have for Jetstar, to make this more visible (particularly on international flight selection). This was my fault, but being charged $160 at the airport to check a 9kg bag in made me feel I was being ripped off and left a sour taste in my mouth towards the Jetstar brand. I'll never fly with them again. Even movies and water needed to be purchased on the flight."

ข้อเสีย: "Everything about the flight ESPECIALLY the cheap rippoff scams to make money by Jetstar to charge you for everything and anything they can! The low fares are totally Negated by the low rent treatment by Jetstar. This a Ponzi scheme on wings!!! How do you spell Disrespect? Jetstar! They will no doubt interfere or screw me on some future flight!! What is the difference between Jetstar and Qantas? Cant tell the difference except the fare price."

ข้อเสีย: "All they cared about was charging us for our carryon. They lost my luggage and I missed my meetings in Sydney. Nobody to complain to they have no staff in Sydney. They also tagged my luggage to the wrong passenger and it was an ordeal to get it back once they found it. Talk about a security breach !! Never fly them again !!! Will be sending info to media!! Paid $320 for extra baggage fees coming from an Air Canada business flight ticket with carry-on - they didn't care!! Kelta at ck in only cared about charging us and when I told her to put the bags in my name she said don't tell me how to do my job I know - and then bag is in another person's name and he had to leave asap in Sydney and it was an ordeal to get report done!! They charge for coffee on board and flight attendants were also rude!! Where is the customer service? Terrible !!"

ข้อเสีย: "We booked through Kayak and weren't told that when you book a flight with Jetstar, you get NO BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE. ZERO, ZIP, NIL. We didn't know this and assumed like other Australian and New Zealand carriers, we would each get one free bag, so I went online and paid $25 for a third bag. When we checked in for a domestic flight, we were told that we would have to pay $400 to send our luggage with us. THAT WAS MORE THAN WE PAID FOR OUR SEATS! We were also told that had we paid for our luggage ahead of time, it would have only been $60. Be very careful if you fly this airline. Make sure you know what is and what is not included with your ticket, especially if you use a third party to purchase your tickets. PS - All drinks (including coffee, tea, soda, etc.)are extra. Frankly, I'm surprised they don't charge for using the toilet in flight"

ข้อเสีย: "I didn't like how people just rushed to get in front of the line and didn't wait for their row numbers to be called when boarding the plane. I understand that everyone wants the overhead compartment space, but it was just rude. Also, it is frustrating that the airline will nickel and dime you for everything. My suggestion is to make you sure you buy the Kilograms for your luggage before you get to the airport (if you are checking luggage in) or else you are going to be paying a hefty price to check your bags. Also you are only allowed 7 Kgs (15 lbs) for carry on luggage...if you go over that you will be charged. The seats were comfortable, but way too close together."

ข้อเสีย: "Take off was delayed. Beware, since this is the last flight of the day, there's very little room for delays arriving in Sydney as all flights must land at Sydney Airport by 10:30pm. We were lucky that we just made the cut off"

ข้อเสีย: "First of all, while booking my flight online, the site canceled my transaction 3 times because the price had risen up while I was completing the forms. I ended up paying more than the initial price. Also, the site never asked me about my bagages and when I tried adding one, it wouldn't let me. Therefore, I figured that it wasn't required to mark how many bags I was checking in and that it will be done once I get to the airport. Biggest mistake! Not only did we need to pay 50$ for a bag of 15kg and 15$ for every kg over this limit, but the employee at the check-in counter was the ruddest person and was treating us as if we we're stupid. Indeed, I tried explaining to her the situation and how the website never asked for our bags but she kept saying how it was all our fault and didn't sympathize one bit. Worst service I've ever received in an airport."

ข้อเสีย: "Delays happened the entire trip. I had my bag weighed on the way to Australia and they said it was fine to carry on. Then, on my way back they tried to make me pay for it to be checked. The bag was lighter. They also moved me because they had double booked my seat to a middle seat. Overall, very terrible experience. My first flight was delayed to Sydney and I missed my flight to Brisbane. They got me a hotel in Sydney for the night but the didn't tell us where to go to get the voucher. So after 10 hours of flying after 4 hours of delays, I was wondering around helplessly to try to find their office. They told us to go to the Jetstar counter, but no one was there. I got help from another airline as to where to find the office. By the way, their office is marked with a very little sign that is incredibly hard to find. Crazy experience, and I travel quite often."

ข้อเสีย: "Flight was second leg of an international flight but that wasn't indicated anywhere nor were there any alerts. So, nearly missed the flight even while arriving in plenty of time for boarding, we had to pay another $8 for the shuttle to the international terminal even though it was a domestic flight. Staff was not understanding of why that might be confusing, and kept referencing the amount of numbers in the flight number that should have magically indicated to us that it was an international flight."

ข้อเสีย: "I wasn't expecting such a no frills flight. For a 10 hour flight we had to buy our own beverages. I asked for hot water and was told there was a charge."
