Despite the fact that the MC (Main Character) has knowledge of the future and immense strength her lack of ability to plan ahead results in her being completely incompetent and subservient to others. I gave the story 20 chapters to see if the MC would get any smarter or if the other characters would become more realistic but it never happened. Two men who are supposed to be straight keep blushing and being overprotective of the MC who is disguised as a man. At least in the first 20 chapters it doesn't appear that the two men realized that she was a woman in disguise so their behavior seems completely out of place unless they are supposed to be gay. This combined with the fact that the MC never stands up for herself makes the story a chore to read and I wouldn't recommend it.

This seemed like a decent story with some amusing moments, but then a scene later on was suddenly so remarkably bad that it made me doubt the author's ability to bring it to a decent conclusion.

In chapter 41, the protagonist P is about to duel the antagonist A. To paraphrase:
A: Before our duel, please drink from this water bottle. It's not poisoned or anything.
P: *drinks*
During the duel, P discovers that she's been poisoned. *surprisedpikachuface*

And then, three chapters later, after P has survived the duel despite the poison, and is currently being nursed in bed:
P: "I learned a lesson from that... to never eat anything before a duel." (actual dialogue)

Mulan meets dominating yandere and submissive yandere. Picks one and lives happily ever after. That's the outline of what this story is and I expect... will be.

I rate this 8.5 because while predictable, the execution is decent and entertaining.

Tbh this is your usual, I read the novel oh Damn I am “that” character that gets a “bad ending”. Although it does have its selling points making it a lot better than the usual road we take.
