แต่พอหาข้อมูลไปๆ มาๆ หลายๆ ครั้งก็มีคำถามเกิดขึ้นในหัว โดยเฉพาะเวลาเจอคอร์สที่สนใจมากๆ อยากรู้รายละเอียดเพิ่ม แต่พอเห็นปุ่ม “ติดต่อมหาลัย” หรือ “ขอข้อมูลจากมหาลัย” แล้ว ไฟที่ลุกโชนกลับเหลือแค่ปลายไม้ขีด แหม ก็ไม่รู้จะถามยังไง กลัวคุยกับเค้าไม่รู้เรื่องนี่นา

คำถามเกี่ยวกับการสมัครเรียน

• What does the course cover? (คอร์สครอบคลุมเนื้อหาอะไรบ้าง?)

• How many hours a week will I be in timetabled teaching? (แต่ละอาทิตย์จะต้องเข้าเรียนอาทิตย์ละประมาณกี่ชั่วโมง) 

• How much flexibility is there? (เข้มงวดมั้ย หรือว่ามีการผ่อนปรนได้บ้างมั้ย)

• What assessment methods are used? (ประเมินผลยังไงบ้าง)

• What’s the split between lectures, tutorials and self-directed study? (อัตราส่วนการสอนเป็นยังไงบ้าง ระหว่างเข้าเลคเชอร์ มี tutorials และให้อ่านเอง)

• What deadlines will you have to meet? (มีเดดไลน์อะไรยังไงบ้าง)

• Does it have the facilities you expect? (มีอุปกรณ์ เครื่องไม้เครื่องมือตามที่เราหวังมั้ย)

• How will the course make you more employable? Do they offer or arrange placements? (คอร์สนี้ช่วยให้เราหางานได้ง่ายขึ้นยังไงบ้าง เค้ามีการจัดฝึกงานตามบริษัทต่างๆ มั้ย)

• What have previous students gone on to do after graduating? (ศิษย์เก่าจบไปแล้วเค้าไปทำอะไรกันบ้าง)

• What proportion go on to postgraduate study? Do you need to a postgraduate course to get a job? (เรียนป.ตรีจบแล้วมีคนไปต่อป.โทเป็นอัตราส่วนเท่าไหร่ ต้องต่อโทก่อนรึเปล่าถึงจะหางานได้)

• Do they know what past students are doing two or three years later? (ทราบมั้ยว่าศิษย์เก่าที่จบไปแล้ว 2-3 ปี ทำงานอะไรกันอยู่)

• Do they run job fairs? (มีงานจ๊อบแฟร์มั้ย)

• How big are the rooms – are some bigger than others? (ห้องใหญ่แค่ไหน บางห้องใหญ่กว่าห้องอื่นรึเปล่า)

• How quiet are they? (หอเงียบมั้ย)

• Can you put stuff on the walls? (แขวนของบนผนังได้รึเปล่า)

• How secure is it? (ปลอดภัยแค่ไหน)

• Do most students stay on campus at weekends? (นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่กลับบ้านหรืออยู่หอในข่วงเสาร์-อาทิตย์)

• Are there any jobs on campus available for students? (มีงา่นอะไรในมหาลัยที่นักศึกษาสามารถทำได้มั้ย)

• Are there any volunteering opportunities? (มีงานอาสาบ้างมั้ย)

• What sports and societies are available? (มีชมรมต่างๆ มั้ย)

• What are the transport links like? Are most things available on campus? (การเดินทางในมหาลัยเป็นยังไงบ้าง สามารถหาของหรือร้านต่างๆ ส่วนใหญ่ได้ในแคมปัสเลยมั้ย)

• How do the costs actually break down? How much money will you need to survive? (ค่าใช้จ่ายต่างๆ มีรายละเอียดยังไงเท่าไหร่บ้าง ต้องใช้เงินเท่าไหร่ถึงจะอยู่ได้)

• To what extent will you need/be able to find part-time work? (เมื่อไหร่จะทำงานพาร์ทไทม์ได้ และทำได้มากแค่ไหน)

• What bursaries, scholarships or fee waivers are there and how do you apply? (มีทุนการศึกษา หรือยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียมต่างๆ บ้างมั้ย)

• What's on offer in terms of cheap student deals/nights out / places to eat? (มีส่วนลดหรือดีลต่างๆ ให้กับนักเรียนมั้ย เช่น ร้านอาหาร สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวต่างๆ)
